HP Brazil assures its customers that they are purchasing original products, and that they can properly dispose of and recycle goods via smart packaging developed by the company. HP adopted the same process of printing personalized codes digitally, which it had been using on boxes of printing equipment and the packaging of ink cartridges it manufactures in Brazil. In this way, says Diego Mutta, HP Brazil’s manager of reverse logistics and projects, every cartridge gains a unique identity.
