The study explores how an inventory-management solution is helping to eliminate hassles for more than 24,000 Subway restaurants across North America by using GS1 standards. Many franchisees in the North American Subway network once required time-consuming weekly inventory counts, and that manual procedure was even more onerous when frequent discrepancies arose between stock, orders and invoices that required troubleshooting and reconciliation.
